Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) on behalf of the Workforce and Community Success Department seeks a qualified and experienced firm with the expertise and resources to manage and facilitate a micro-internship program for its learners over the next two years (FY26 and FY27). The program aims to provide students with real-world work experience on brief, paid projects while delivering measurable benefits to employer partners. A key focus is to serve minority students and other students who face disadvantages in the job market. The scope of work for this program includes: Program Volume: Facilitate 145 unique student micro-internships in FY26 and another 145 in FY27, for a total of 290 placements over the two fiscal years. Additional placements may be requested by CNM during the term of the agreement. Internship Length and Modality: Facilitate micro-internships that are approximately 10 to 30 hours in length. Projects will be primarily remote. In-person projects are permitted only if the employer partner provides workers' compensation coverage for the student. Stipend Payments: Provide learners with an educational stipend of $550 upon the successful completion of their micro-internship projects that are non-credit bearing. The partner company will be responsible for managing this payment process. Local Employer Engagement: Actively work with companies in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico, to source and manage micro-internship opportunities. Employer Support Services: Provide full-service and support to partner companies, including: Assistance with posting micro-internship projects. Offering webinars and other educational materials to help companies understand the program. Providing CNM with pre-built marketing materials for employer outreach. Learner Support Services: Provide onboarding training and support to students throughout the micro-internship process. Project Verification: Verify the successful completion of each micro-internship project before payment is issued to the learner.
