The 49th Contracting Squadron, Holloman AFB, New Mexico is conducting market research in determining the feasibility in executing a Small Business set-aside contract for personnel augmentation of the Logistics Readiness Squadron’s vehicle maintenance/repair capabilities. NAICS: 81111, Automotive Fleet Repair and Maintenance Services and PSC: J023 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Ground Effect Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, and Cycles. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to further determine a socioeconomic set-aside based on market research results.
The contract will require mechanics to perform a wide range vehicle repairs and maintenance of vehicles of various manufacturers at Holloman AFB, New Mexico. It is anticipated the requirement would be for between eight to ten mechanics with the appropriate certification(s) to repair a variety of special purpose and fire fighting vehicles for an estimated period of six to nine months. Vehicle types include but are not limited to the following:
- TRK DIGGER DERRICK MAIN (INTERNATIONAL 56,000 lbs)
- TRK V REFRGR 4X2 19000G (FORD 12,120 lbs)
- STAIRCASE TRUCK (GMC 14,100 lbs)
- TRK W/BACKHOE/LOADER (JCB/CATERPILLAR/JOHN DEERE 17,730 lbs)
- TRK LIGHT RESCUE P-32 (FORD 12,420 lbs)
- TRK FIRE CRS RESCUE P-19 (OSHKOSH 24,310 lbs)
- TRK FIRE PUMPER P-22 (PIERCE 28,280 lbs)
