To secure services for ground-based herbicide spraying. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, chemicals, tools, materials, supplies, and incidentals; and perform all work necessary to complete application in accordance with these specifications, the Detailed Specifications in this contract, and the Herbicide Label(s). An ESRI shapefile and/or georeferenced contract are available to assist the Contractor in locating the project area. The Contractor shall hold and provide a copy of their current New Mexico Commercial Applicator License prior to the award of the contract. Alternatively, a person holding a current commercial license issued from another state can apply for a Commercial Applicator license in NM under reciprocity. The applications will coincide with invasive species phenology. Project site(s) may need to be sprayed within a very short time-frame, therefore enough applicators and equipment would be needed to perform simultaneous and/or large-scale applications. Off-road/overland travel with ATV/UTV will be permitted as long as their use does not cause resource damage as determined by the COR (i.e. rutting greater than 4 inches in depth, creation of roads, crushing/trampling of vegetation, or damage to recreation areas). Off-road/overland travel with trucks will not be permitted. See Attached RFQ for all details.
