The contractor will review the existing grazing management plan, range infrastructure conditions, soil, and vegetation conditions in correlation to the Terrestrial Ecological Survey, develop a long-term rangeland monitoring plan, and create an updated Grazing Management Plan with proposed beneficial range improvements forwildlife bettermentand cattle co-existence on Santa Clara Pueblo. The planning process will be consistent with the Society of Range Management concepts. Santa Clara Pueblo will negotiate with selected contractors an appropriate cost for a Grazing Management Plan development with a commensurate scope of work. Selected contractors may be eligible for subsequent annual funding to continue planning development, monitoring,design, and/or GrazingManagement implementation activities.
