Eddy County is seeking proposals from professional firms for the provision of Economic Development Services within the municipalities of Eddy County, New Mexico. Contracts may be awarded for services in Eddy County to one or to multiple vendors. It is preferable that the offeror be located in Eddy County where services are to be provided. The successful offeror will be responsible for promoting, developing, encouraging and assisting with economic development. All work performed regarding Economic Development pursuant to this RFP will be under the direction of the County Manager with input from the Board of County Commissioners. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, promoting the business and economic development interests within Eddy County, the cities of Carlsbad and Artesia, and the Villages of Hope and Loving, New Mexico. Services may include working with County departments in providing guidance to individuals and companies to help establish, relocate and expand businesses within the communities of Eddy County. The successful offeror will provide assistance in the planning and coordination of community development projects, assisting business and residential applicants with local and State permitting processes and providing research for projects. Services shall focus on the geographical area of Eddy County, New Mexico.
