Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this position is to assist the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Philips Research Site (PRS) in the conduct of collaborative activities with and the transfer of technological assets to and from outside businesses, educational institutions, and other public and private organizations.Primary tasks of the position include but are not limited to: - Developing a portfolio of marketable PRS technologies that may be used to respond to inquiries and application opportunities defined by potential clients. - Conducting Technical Application Assessments (TAA) of government and contractor technologies developed by PRS to determine the feasibility of transferring them and their suitability and marketability in a commercial product. The TAA will contain: 1. Technology abstract and summary level of maturity (basic or applied research 2. Intellectual property status including current license/patent position of technology transfer applications and 3. Potential applications for the government (federal/state/local) and for the private sector.
