The work of this contract comprises the construction of a new all-weather crossing on CR-54 Los Pinos Road at Arroyo Hondo, replacing the existing low-water crossing, which is prone to flooding and roadway damage. The project includes the construction of a six-barrel concrete box culvert bridge spanning 90 feet to ensure continuous access for residents and emergency services. The roadway approaches will be realigned and paved to integrate with the new structure. Additional improvements include re-channelization of the Arroyo Hondo, installation of erosion control structures, and a detour to maintain public access during construction. Roadway work consists of excavation, embankment, base course, hot mix asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, guardrails, signage, pavement markings, and traffic control measures. Drainage and environmental enhancements involve stormwater management, erosion protection, and revegetation efforts to support long-term stability.
