2023-04 - Community Center Playground Improvements

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Base Bid 1 (Township Funded) – The renovation of an existing playground complex. The new facility will expand the footprint of the existing playground and will comprise of new inclusive playground equipment with an ADA accessible poured in place rubber safety surface. The complex will also include new adult exercise equipment. This contract does not include the furnishing of the playground equipment or the adult exercise equipment; all equipment shall be procured directly by the Owner; this contract includes only the installation of the Owner procured equipment. The scope of work shall also include the installation of various fence and gates and other ancillary site amenities and improvements.

Base Bid 2 (CDBG Funded) – The construction of a new precast restroom building and associated utilities (electric, water, sanitary sewer).

·                   L.S.  Playground Equipment Installation
·                   L.S.  Adult Exercise Equipment Installation
·         5,500 S.F. Poured in Place Playground Safety Surface
·            400 L.F.  Chain-Link Fence, PVC Coated Steel, 6’ High

Base Bid 2 (CDBG Funded) –
·                   L.S.  Prefabricated Restroom Building

The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed by April 26, 2024.
