Description

The work to be performed under this contract includes the reconstruction of non-compliant
ADA curb ramps at various locations in the Township.

Principal items of work in the project include:
ꞏ 396 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 4” Thick
ꞏ 30.6 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface
ꞏ 233 L.F. 9” x 18” Concrete Vertical Curb
ꞏ 363 L.F. Belgian Block Curb

The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 45 days of the Notice to
Proceed.

Copies of the specifications and contract documents for the proposed work may be obtained
by any prospective bidder on the internet at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/newjersey/
townshipofverona on and after Thursday, April 27, 2023. Bid documents cannot be
obtained at the Township offices.

3. Specifics of the inquiry, including anticipated results.
The deadline for submitting inquiries is 12:00 p.m., 7 days before the opening of bids.
The Department will investigate the information provided in the inquiry and, if the Department
determines that a change or response is necessary, the Department will issue an addendum.
Requests for postponement of bids will not receive a response. The Department will issue an
addendum postponing bids if warranted.
