Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vendor’s {Contractor’s} responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following: The Vendor {Contractor} shall maintain day-to-day communications with the NJDEP Representative that engaged the Vendor {Contractor} throughout the entire Engagement; The Vendor {Contractor} shall attempt to resolve minor problems and disputes with the NJDEP Representative. The Vendor {Contractor} shall notify the SCM of any Blanket P.O. issues that cannot be resolved directly with the NJDEP Representative; The Vendor {Contractor} shall acknowledge and respond to all requests for information received from the SCM or the NJDEP Representative concerning this Blanket P.O. Requests for information include, but are not limited to, contacts by NJDEP Representatives concerning engagements under the Blanket P.O. and questions and concerns raised by the SCM. Unless otherwise specified herein, telephone contact shall be responded to by telephone and written messages via email; The Vendor {Contractor} shall provide written notification to the SCM within 48 hours of receipt of any adverse actions taken against the Vendor {Contractor} by any Federal, State or Municipal entities affecting, or with the potential for affecting the Vendor {Contractor} and its ability to perform services under this Blanket P.O.; The Vendor {Contractor} shall track the project budget as represented by the Purchase Order(s) issued for the site. The Vendor {Contractor} shall advise the NJDEP Representative at least one (1) month prior to the anticipated depletion of funds in each Purchase Order. The Vendor {Contractor} is only authorized to bill for the amount of money authorized in each Purchase Order. The NJDEP will not pay for work conducted in excess of the Purchase Order amount; The Vendor {Contractor} must assume full responsibility for the protection and safekeeping of materials and equipment located on site until final payment for the Engagement; The Vendor {Contractor} must protect and not harm structures, vegetation, equipment, monitoring wells and other property on site that are not part of the work. The Vendor {Contractor} must be responsible for any, and all damage caused by its operations and shall make the necessary reparations at no cost to the State; and If requested by the NJDEP Representative, the Vendor {Contractor} shall participate in daily pre-work meetings on-site to discuss planned activities and any other relevant issues related to the work. Additionally, if requested by the NJDEP Representative, the Vendor {Contractor} shall submit a written summary of the previous day’s work detailing the work that was performed and identifying the labor, equipment, materials, and services used during the work activities.
