The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Replacement of the existing roofing for the Bergen County Homeless Shelter located at 120 South River St, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The roof replacement will consist of a full removal and replacement with a TPO Roofing System. The TPO Roofing System shall extend to the top of all parapets and rooftop unit bases, and shall include new flashing. Tapered rigid insulation shall be installed above the roof deck sloped to the drains, and all drainage caps shall be replaced. The Contractor shall install new aluminum coping at all parapets, and replace all gutters and downspouts. The Contractor shall also replace sections of roof decking found to be damaged as directed by the Engineer on a contingency basis. The Contractor will be required to maintain the water tight integrity of the roof through the construction period.
