Specifications include, but are not limited to: VILLAGE OF RIDGEFIELD PARK NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) new and unused 2015 Four- Wheel Drive Dump Truck with Snowplow for use by the Ridgefield Park Department of Public Works, will be received by the Clerk of the Village of Ridgefield Park, County of Bergen, State of New Jersey on October 24, 2014 at 10:00AM (prevailing time) in the Commissioner's Conference Room on the third floor of the Ridgefield Park Municipal Building, 234 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, New Jersey 07660. Bids may be tendered in accordance with the Specifications up until 10:00AM on October 24, 2014, addressed to the Village of Ridgefield Park, Att: Tara O'Grady, Village Clerk, and shall be endorsed "New and unused 2015 Four Wheel Drive Dump Truck with Snowplow. Only bids that are enclosed in sealed, opaque envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the nature of the bid contained therein shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bidder is required to submit with his Bid, a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid, but not more than $20,000.00, as security that the Bidder will enter into the required contract in accordance with the specifications thereof, if said Bid is awarded to Bidder. Copies of the specifications may be obtained from the office of the Village Clerk, Ridgefield Park Municipal Building, 234 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, New Jersey 07660, during regular business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to c. 33, P.L. 1977, all bidders shall set forth, in an appropriate statement, the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation, partners in a partnership or other persons in a business entity who own ten (10%) or more interest in the business entity which may bid on the aforesaid contract. The Board of Commissioners of the Village of Ridgefield Park reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities in any Bid, which are not material in nature, to accept the Bid it deems to be the lowest responsible Bid and to reject any and all bids which, in the judgment of the governing body, might not be in the best interest of the municipality.
