Specifications include, but are not limited to: design the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs' Website in its entirety (i.e. graphics, htrnl documents, files for download, archives and constituent e-mail databases) to be hosted on a professional grade server, such as MySQL or its equivalent, with the capacity to provide sufficient space and operating capability to handle current and archival material, hits, uploads and bandwidth. The "Department" website must be integrated with the County of Essex website. b. The Consultant shall make structural, design and appearance changes to the website as directed and approved by the County's Director of Parks or his designee (the "Director"), and shall make routine changes and updates on an as-needed basis. Such changes shall include, but are not limited to, editorial content, press releases, and messages from the Director or the County Executive, listings of current events, directory changes, announcements and custom queries, and will be made the same business day if received by 4:00 p.m. and by 9:00 a.m. on the following business day if received after 4:00 p.m. c. The Consultant shall maintain archived press releases and event schedules and provide access to them by website visitors and users. d. The Consultant shall have and provide the Department with access to an online control panel that will monitor hits on the site and allow viewing of detailed description of site statistics. e. The Consultant shall guarantee the same day posting of items received from the Director or hislher designee, and that the site has proper security protocols and virus protection to prevent unauthorized tampering and manipulation ofthe site. f. The Consultant shall monitor the site and inform the Director or his designee verbally and in writing of any tampering ASAP, but within no more than 24 hours should the tampering occur Monday through Friday, and within no more than 48 hours should tampering occur on Saturday or Sunday.
