The Township is seeking a Respondent that has expertise covering a wide area of activities in the provision of Water and Wastewater Consulting Services. Firms and/or persons responding to this RFP shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services. The purpose of the services is to provide oversight of American Water’s operation of the water system and the Township’s operation of the wastewater system and any other matters relative to the water and sewer utilities including aspects that involve the Township’s water treatment plant. All services will be provided through the Business Administrator. The consultant may be requested to provide the following services on a monthly basis: Review of the private operation firm(s) monthly reports and other correspondence, and requests for maintenance expenditures or payments for services. Specify the data, reports, and records that the private firm should provide the township. Review of water quality data, regulatory compliance for water quality, disposition of customer service requests, regulatory reporting, and production of water and wastewater. Review of the private firm’s performance relative to their contract with the township, including staffing levels, reporting, maintenance, and compliance. Identify important observations, findings, deficiencies or problems relative to the above reviews making recommendations as appropriate.
