Jakes Branch County Park, located in Beachwood, NJ, features a woodshop facility that supports various educational and recreational programming. The existing dust collection system, originally installed over a decade ago, no longer meets current safety standards or operational efficiency needs. To address this, the County is undertaking a renovation of the system to comply with updated NFPA 660 guidelines and ensure a safer, cleaner working environment. This project includes the design and installation of a new duct system, integration of spark detection and isolation gate components, and connection to existing tools and a new CNC router. The County will retain the existing Torit cyclone unit, model 24 with 7.5 HP motor, which remains in good working condition.
