WINTERIZING: CW-1. Lower water level in the dive pool, 50 meter pool, intermediate pool to the correct levels for winter. Drain and cover the kiddie pool floor with salt hay. CW-2. Drain and blow out all water lines to and from pools to prevent freezing. CW-3. Open correct deck valves and close correct deck valves to prevent pipes or hoses from receiving or retaining water. CW-4. Correctly position, remove, or disconnect all valves, gauges, hoses, meters and pipes of the filter systems to prevent freezing. CW-5. Disconnect and remove all chlorinators. Flush and blow out the chlorine lines. CW-6. Remove diving boards, ladders, handrails and guard chairs and place in storage on pool premises. CW-7. Drain and blow out all water fountains, fill spouts and hose bib lines and remove necessary parts from fountains to prevent freezing. CW-8. Winterize and inspect all motors and pumps of the filter system to prevent freezing. CW-9. Drain filter tanks to prevent freezing. CW-10. Correctly position all kiddie pool valves to prevent winter freezing. CW-11. Remove and inspect all underwater lights in all pools. CW-12. Inspect the caulking joints between gutter and deck and report any necessary repairs.
