The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain competitive proposals for a virtual instruction provider. The services will include the management and placement of virtual licensed teachers into various classrooms throughout the district. The East Orange Board of Education (Board) desires to contract with a vendor to be responsible for providing virtual teachers. The Board reserves the right to limit services to a specific grade level or school building. The provider shall be able to address the following: • Fill open positions with qualified, certified teachers; • Access teachers living all over the country - not just within commuting distance; • Specialty course offerings like CTE courses and Advanced Placements; • Teachers are certified, background checked, and experienced; • Certifications from the National Virtual Teacher Association.
