The New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority (“NJPBA”) is requesting bid proposals to upgrade an existing Vela Luna+ Turnkey system. An upgrade should remedy the following known issues: - OS Support Ending: The system runs Windows 10, which reaches Microsoft end-ofsupport on October 14, 2025. No further security updates will be available after this date. - Software Obsolescence: The installed Vela Encompass™ version 7.x is a legacy release and should be replaced with Vela 10.x for optimal performance. - Hardware Limitations: Original 2020 hardware does not meet requirements for new OS and software versions. The successful bidder shall supply: 1) Item 3810-12 Vela Luna+ - 12TB (7.2 useable) 1 each; Rack-mountable, enterprise-class, multiviewer, compliance, monitoring, logging, and recording SSD server with redundant power supplies and RAID5 hot-swappable drives. System is capable of recording original full-quality content and high-resolution proxies. System includes all compliance, multiviewer, quality of service (QoS), and export features. Full Resolution, Proxy, Competitor, and/or Monitor Licenses must be added separately. Inputs are included with the licenses and can be any combination of Baseband, SDI, ASI, RF, IP, QAM, OTT, HDMI, Composite, and Radio. Input Configuration: 8xSDI, 4xASI, 4x1GB; 2) Item 2821-CHP Proxy License - Proxy recordings, logs and alerts, per channel (qty. 12); 3) Item COMM Remote Commissioning of Luna+ System; quantity 1; Provides remote commissioning, configuration, integration, and testing of the system. Includes basic administrative and usage training. 4) 1-year warranty
