The Monmouth County Park System is soliciting qualifications to provide title searches and title insurance on various Park System projects for the period of January 1, 2025 (or date of award if later) through December 31, 2027 (36 months). Typically, the services involve the searching of title and issuance of title insurance for real property, or easements thereon, purchased by the County for the purpose of open space preservation, natural resources conservation and public recreation. The Park System will establish a list of the most qualified title companies, to whom projects will be assigned on a project-by-project basis by the Monmouth County Counsel. In selecting a title company for the list of approved title companies, the Park System will consider the following factors, in its discretion: 1. Licenses, certifications, and professional associations of the company and/or its staff. 2. Experience of the title company. 3. Strength of the title insurance carrier(s) offered. 4. Geographic location of the title company’s offices. 5. Familiarity with searching titles and insuring titles to property in Monmouth County. 6. Ability to render title search and title insurance promptly and professionally. 7. References.
