Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NBOE seeks proposals from providers that can deliver mental health services/therapy and coaching via teletherapy sessions in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Korean, and Haitian Creole. The Contractor shall provide and ensure each teletherapy session takes place in a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) compliant video call. We anticipate the Contractor will serve 8 students at each of the 18 high schools. Services shall be provided by licensed therapists in the State of New Jersey who specialize in treating mental health struggles that interfere with academic performance. In addition to strengthening students' emotional and cognitive skills, the Therapist will limit the impact of symptoms and improve their overall well-being. Licensed therapists must be able to address topics related to but not limited to, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral modifications, and substance prevention. The Therapist will provide services to students experiencing mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and more. The Licensed Therapist will provide therapeutic sessions to Tier 2 targeted or strategic instruction/intervention and Tier 3 intensive instruction/intervention and/or crisis intervention students.
