• Provide eligible students, as defined by N.J.A.C. 6A:14, with speech and language therapy services. Sessions are as determined by the IEP. • Provide written progress reports as requested by the CST members and/or scheduled reporting cycles. Progress in speech therapy sessions is measured with formal and informal testing. There are numerous possible tests which are determined by the speech therapist based upon the student’s presenting symptoms, i.e. Stuttering, difficulty reading, fluency, phonics, enunciation, etc. • Responsible for logging all SEMI related services as directed by the district SEMI Coordinator; Responsible for responding to SEMI random moment requests in a timely fashion. Please note it is the responsibility of the firm/company appointed to provide names and email addresses of all therapists assigned to the district for any long-term placements, to satisfy this requirement; • Speech and language services will be provided on an as-needed basis throughout the 12- month school year including the extended school year program. • Participation in CST meetings when necessary to provide interpretation of testing results and provide speech-language related information to the CST team, parent, and/or student. The CST meetings are held at each individual school. • Services will be on a per diem or hourly basis. • Bidders should anticipate that failure to submit a proposal containing all elements specified in the RFP, will negatively affect the reviewof their proposal. • Proposals that do not contain the mandatory requirements will not be evaluated.
