1. Initiation of Work: o Snow plowing shall commence at 1” of accumulation for WSMDC locations and at 2” of accumulation for HACC locations, upon notification by authorized HACC/WSMDC staff. o All paved areas, entrances, walkways, and sidewalks must be cleared and de-iced during the storm to permit access and movement of staff and residents. 2. Completion Deadline: o All locations must be fully cleared, salted, and made safe no later than the start of the next business day following a snowfall. 3. Pre-Treatment and Ice Prevention: o Contractor shall pre-treat all surfaces (sidewalks, steps, driveways, walkways, parking lots) with ice melt and/or salt prior to snowfall or when a winter weather advisory is issued, as determined by site conditions or request from HACC/WSMDC. o Surfaces must be treated again after plowing to prevent ice formation...
