Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Township will notify the contractor when they are to begin the snow removal. Contractor must provide a contact phone number 24 hours a day, seven days a week and must respond to the Township’s call within 15 minutes and be able to be on site within one hour. 1. Paved Areas: The removal of snow and ice from all macadam areas, parking stalls, entrances and exit ways. 2. Sidewalks and Steps: The removal of snow and ice from all sidewalks and steps. 3. Material Applications (all material supplied by vendor): • Roadway Areas - Straight Rock Salt, as needed and approved by the Township • Walks & Steps - Calcium Chloride, or equivalent, as needed and approved by the Township to maintain a slip-free surface. Material is to be spread evenly and uniformly on a walkways. • Snow Stakes - Color-coded stakes installed at all curb lines, storm drains, fire hydrants, man holes, mailboxes and any areas deemed necessary by the Township.
