Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Procurement Bureau, Division of Purchase andProperty, Department of the Treasury on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Transportation(NJDOT). The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for Snow Removal and HaulingServices, Statewide Re-Bid for all Open Snow Sections. The NJDOT is seeking to procurefully manned and operated trucks to perform this service. The NJDOT removes snow on over13,000 lane miles of roadway statewide. These roadways are broken down into snow sections.There are 69 open snow sections to be bid upon. Each snow section requires a number ofsnow plows to remove the snow from curb-to-curb. Class A trucks (see section 3.7) are preferredin this contract, but bidders may offer either Class A or Class B trucks. Also, bidders will be ableto bid one of two options. One option is to bid an hourly rate with the NJDOT providing snowplows and related mounting apparatus and the other option is to bid an hourly rate with theVendor providing the snow plows and related mounting apparatus
