The bid will be awarded based on an hourly rate that will include labor and equipment. The Township will provide the necessary salt to the contractor. The intent of this bid is to have a contractor supply the necessary labor and equipment to remove snow and de-ice the bus shelters and sidewalks along Route 9. The contractor shall provide a minimum of 4 ground employees and 1 4WD pickup with plow and 2 snow blowers. The contractor shall supply a front end loader to assist their crew when necessary. Locations to be cleared: Route 9 North, Ryan Road, Smallwood Road, Taylors Mills Road, and Gordons Corner Road Route 9 South, Towne Point, Taylors Mills Road, and Symmes Drive All employees of contractor working on or near roadways must use proper safety equipment. Lighting for night operations should be used.
