The County seeks a single vendor to provide 4 – 6 male youth temporary out-of-home detention alternative placement on any given day. Male youth will range in ages 11 to 18 and will be referred by the Superior Court – Family Division or FCIU. It is anticipated that the average length of stay (ALOS) per youth will be 36 days though it is possible some youth will stay for a short amount of time while others could remain beyond the ALOS. The total number of youth to be served annually is determined by referrals made by the Court and FCIU. There is no annual ceiling or limit on the number of youth placed in the program, rather there will be no more than 4 – 6 youth daily. Camden County encourages partnerships and the utilization of additional local resources such as the Family Success Centers, Community Centers, Schools, Recreational Centers, and Faith Based Organizations.
