1. Snow plowing shall commence when 1” of snow is accumulated on the ground for WSMDC locations and 2” of snow is accumulated on the ground for HACC locations, and for every 1” or 2” of snow that falls with proper notification from HACC and WSMDC authorized staff. Contractorsshall plow and salt all paved areas, entrances and clear and de-ice all walkways during storms to permit access and movement of staff and residents. Contractor shall return to the properties as needed to keep entrances, driveways, and sidewalks free from ice and snow. There shall not be a hazardous/life safety condition at any time. 2. Contractor shall spread ice melt as needed prewinter storm on sidewalks, steps, walkways and driveways and spread salt on all parking lots when surfaces are slippery and/or temperatures are at or below freezing and there is precipitation. 3. When winter advisory in effect check with locations if preventative services are required.
