CONTRACT #1 – School Board Attorney – Retainer (Flat Fee) Contract Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.2 (a) (4) (ii), services for this contract are herewith provided as follows: The attorney and/or law firm contracted by the board of education shall provide the following services under the School Board Attorney retainer (Flat Fee) contract: 1. Attendance at Board Meetings/Parliamentarian The School Board Attorney shall attend all public meetings of the Lakewood Board of Education and other meetings that the Board of Education shall convene. The School Board Attorney shall attend board of education committee meetings when so invited by the committee chairperson. (The School Board Attorney shall be the parliamentarian at all board meetings, if attorney agrees.) The following is a typical meeting schedule of the board of education: • One Regular Public meeting (inclusive of work and/or executive sessions) per month, and • Special and Emergency meetings as may be required
