The work to be performed under this contract includes the reconstruction of the park's driveway and parking lot, including approximately 950 linear feet of block curb, 100 linear feet of concrete curb, 500 square yards of concrete sidewalk and driveway, concrete steps, 100 cubic yards of subbase, 1,400 square yards of dense graded aggregate base course, 550 tons of hot mix asphalt base course and 225 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course. The project also includes approximately 290 linear feet of storm drains and associated improvements. Also included in the project is the demolition of the existing playground area and grading and earthwork necessary to prepare the site for new playground equipment (by others); grading and earthwork necessary to prepare the site for new park pavilion buildings (by others); and the installation of sewer and water service connections for the proposed park pavilion; as well as related incidental work and improvements.
