Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Refurbish 1,033 stationary folding seats in the Timber Creek High School Auditorium. • Successful bidder is required to make a site visit to validate the amount of seats to be reupholstered and the sizes of each seat. (there are approximately three (3) different sizes) • Vendor shall coordinate the amount to be removed at any given time, with access to the building being during normal operating hours. • All repairs/reupholstering shall be done off site. • Vendor shall strip the existing seat bottom and seat back down to the chassis and frame. • Vendor shall template seat bottom frame and manufacture custom full bottom seat support from 1/2" cabinet grade plywood. • Existing foam to be replaced with custom radius 3" XL 45 high density foam, cut to size using seat bottom support template with 1/2” overhang. • Manufacture new seat bottom cover using contract grade vinyl to fit custom 1/2” plywood seat bottom support. Choice of color shall be made by representatives of the school district. • Manufacture new seat back cover using contract grade vinyl to fit existing seat back. Choice of color shall be made by representatives of the school district. • Drill out existing metal seat bottom frame to secure custom 1/2” plywood seat bottom support using #10 machine screw. • Assemble new seat materials to the existing frames and reupholster them with newly manufactured covers
