Provide the ongoing exterior repairs as noted below to the Roebling Machine Shop ensuring the continued and safe use of the building by the community. Critical Roof Repairs – Roof leaks have been observed in a number of different areas throughout the entire building. This includes an active leak that was noted in the 1942 addition which serves as the offices of the Trenton Circus Squad. Roof repairs are required for the upper, lower, and circus roofs. They include the removal and installation of new roofing surface, flashing, scuppers, downspouts, and pole gutters (approximately 37,000 SF). Window Replacement – The structure has three floors of windows, with mostly glass panes and a mix of wood and metal framing. Many of the clerestory windowsills are rotting and contributing to water infiltration. Repairs will include the removal and replacement of the first and second story windows, the stabilization of the clerestory windows located on the first floor, second floor, and building additions (approximately 8,500 SF), and the replacement/reconstruction of the sills located on the third floor (approximately 900 LF).
