Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Red Dyed #2 Diesel (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) 2.1.1. These specifications cover the furnishing and delivery of red dyed #2 Diesel (ULTRA LOW SULFUR DIESEL) to the Road, Bridge, Vehicle Equipment, Recycling Department and participating Cooperative members. 2.1.2. A list of all owned mobile delivery equipment stating year, make and tank size and permanent location where equipment is stored shall be included in the bid proposal. 2.1.3. A list of permanent facilities stating storage capacities, type of fuel and location shall be included in the bid package. 2.2. Winter Mix: Red Dyed (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) The purpose and intent of this specification is to obtain red dyed ULTRA LOW SULFUR DIESEL winter mix which is blend of fuel oil #1 (kerosene) diesel fuel #2, in a percentage of mix that is prescribed and offered by the bidder, or by the addition of chemical additive. 2.2.1. Period of availability for red dyed ULTRA LOW SULFUR DIESEL – winter mix shall be from October 15 through April 15 yearly. 2.2.2. Bidders are required to indicate the method of blend (kerosene or chemical additive.)
