Specifications include, but are not limited to: A vendor qualified to provide and service portable Sanitation Units as required by various Atlantic County offices. a. Service of the units shall be accomplished by professionally trained employees, using modern, clean tank trucks will all valves, joints and pipe connection water tight at all times to prevent leakage. These tanks shall be compartmented to have an adequate supply of chemical and separate sludge compartment. b. Complete service shall be provided to each unit semi-weekly (two times per week) or more often if required, unless otherwise noted on the Proposal Form. Semi-weekly servicing will occur each Monday and Friday of the contract period for the line item. If the unit is not accessible for pumping because of snow or other obstacles, the unit shall be completely serviced except for pumping which shall be rescheduled at the proper time. Contractor must supply an accurate cleaning schedule to the county Park Division so that areas that are locked can be unlocked prior to the driver arriving. c. A complete servicing shall include: 1) Units shall be recharged with fresh germicide solution containing antifreeze necessary to keep contents of the tank from freezing. This germicide solution shall be capable of eliminating and controlling odors while the unit is in service at temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. 2) The units shall be thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed and the toilet seat and urinal area completely disinfected using uniform techniques with quality control provided by the contractor. All graffiti shall be removed at each cleaning. If graffiti cannot completely be removed from the unit to the satisfaction of the County, the entire unit must be replaced at the contractor’s expense. 3) Replenishing the toilet paper supply, replacing deodorant nugget in urinal and inspecting the unit and correcting any defect found shall also be considered part of servicing.
