Site Evaluation and Scheduling • Coordinate with UEZ program staff and/or property owners to assess conditions. • Verify that each gate is unused or nonfunctional prior to removal. • Schedule work in accordance with city guidelines and individual business needs. Roll Gate Removal • Dismantle and remove roll gates, including all tracks, motors, and associated parts. • Ensure safe working conditions with minimal disruption to the business and public. • Properly dispose of all removed materials in compliance with regulations. Surface Finishing & Repair • Repair or patch any affected masonry, framing, or storefront materials as needed. • Clean and finish exposed areas to restore a safe and visually appropriate façade. • Match surrounding finishes to the extent practical. Documentation and Reporting • Provide before-and-after photos of each project location. • Submit brief summaries describing work completed, hours worked, and materials used. • Invoices must be submitted for each completed location with itemized breakdowns.
