The intent of theses specifications from the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, is to outline the type of services desired and the minimum qualifications required for qualified food concession vendors interested in the operation of both the food concession halfway house (or beverage cart) at Francis A. Byrne Golf Course in West Orange, NJ. Francis A. Byrne Golf Course recently completed a major renovation. The course hosts close to 40,000 rounds of golf annually. The Concessionaire shall be authorized to sell food, packaged ice cream, shaved ice, non-alcoholic beverages as well as alcoholic (beer and wine) beverages and packaged goods from the concession area or pushcart such as: • Typical breakfast foods – sandwiches, bagels, coffee, etc. • Typical lunch foods – sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. • Variety of beverages (non-alcoholic and beer and wine) There is enough seating for approximately 45-50 people inside and outside.
