• Contractor shall provide at least two staff members for each session, which must include an Equine Specialist and a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to support the clients during their time at the Equine Assisted Therapy facility. • Contractor’s staff shall meet Somerset County requirements for Background Check and Drug Screen. • The Equine Assisted Therapist shall lead and manage one group session per program monthly. Session length shall be determined by the number of attendees as noted below. o Option A - R4R: 2-3 adults, 1 hour 4-8 adults, 2 hours o Option B - STAR: 2-3 adults, 1 hour 4-8 adults, 2 hours • Billable time for the Equine Assisted therapy program will exclude the time it takes to transport clients from Richard Hall Community Health & Wellness Center to Equine Assisted Therapy facility. • The agency supporting the program shall have an Equine Assisted Therapy facility which supports indoor and outdoor availability at the same location. • The program shall offer the use of at least three horses in conjunction with their staff.
