The County of Camden is committed to expanding access to a full continuum of professional substance use disorder (SUD) services. This RFP supports Prevention, Education, Early Intervention, Treatment, and Recovery Support services. County-funded services shall focus on indigent residents, including those without medical coverage, unable to access NJ fee-for-service programs, and/ or the underinsured who meet eligibility requirements outlined by DAS (Division of Addiction Services)/ DASIE NJSAMS. Additionally, services proposed should address the gap in MAT linkages and additional high-need groups identified in the County’s most recent Needs Assessment Survey: Justice-involved individuals (including DUI) Women and women with children Individuals with co-occurring mental health conditions Youth and young adults Applicants are expected to design services that address these populations while strengthening the overall continuum of care in Camden County Services must be grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care that adheres to the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Patient Placement Criteria II (PPCII), utilizing tools such as the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) to link assessments with outcomes.
