The East Orange School District is seeking to provide administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals with ongoing and sustained Professional Development Services to make a shift and rethink classroom instruction based on today’s students. The Professional Development Services should include options for content development and mastery as well as training and coaching that engages the faculty in exploring and utilizing a variety of instructional strategies, including those relating to a variety of diverse learning needs inclusive of multilingual strategies as well as social emotional supports. The objective is to assist staff with engaging students more deeply in the learning process toward higher achievement, differentiating instruction, integrating the career and core academic aspects of their students’ educational experiences, addressing individual diverse needs and integrating social emotional supports throughout the curriculum The Professional Development Services opportunities should provide the following options: • In-person and virtual sessions • Full day, half-day, and hourly options • Job-embedded coaching, workshops, and ongoing training. • Content specific modules for independent learning
