Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contracted Consultant Therapist shall: • Provide direct therapy for students individually or in small group as per their IEP or 504 • Conduct thorough evaluations of students as requested • Write and Monitor goals in the area of Physical Therapy • Consult with staff and parents on recommendations and strategies for students • Monitor staff use of equipment issued for physical therapy needs and provide training as required • Attend meetings for students with physical therapy services • Consult with other individuals and team members relative to achievement and programming for the student’s goals and objectives. • Write goals and objectives and/or present levels of academic functional performance as required by District. • Determine equipment needs and submit orders according to district policies. • Responsible for logging all SEMI related services as directed by the district SEMI Coordinator; • Responsible for responding to SEMI random moment requests in a timely fashion. Please note it is the responsibility of the firm/company appointed to provide names and email addresses of all therapists assigned to the district for any long-term placements, to satisfy this requirement; • Provide all required reports to District personnel. • Ability to work during the school year and ESY
