Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Individualized Education Plan (IEP) related services for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and applied behavioral analysis for students attending NBOE schools, Newark preschool sites, residences of NBOE students placed on home instruction, and non-public schools; B. Monolingual and bilingual psychological, educational, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language, assistive technology, and functional behavioral evaluations for students attending NBOE, in Newark preschool sites, in residences of NBOE students placed on home instruction, and non-public schools; C. Counseling services for students attending NBOE, in Newark preschool sites, in residences of NBOE students placed on home instruction, and non-public schools; D. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Services shall serve classified students on behavioral, social and emotional issues. The BCBA will serve as part of a team responsible for establishing and providing behavioral assessments, designing behavioral plans and conducting trainings, The BCBA will also provide ongoing technical assistance, communication, collaboration, and problem solving between and among school personnel, students and families, and community; E. Paraprofessional services for students who require adult support per their Individualized Education Program; and F. Reading Specialists services for students shall support, supplement and extend classroom teaching. The awarded Contractor shall work collaboratively with NBOE staff to implement a quality reading program that is research-based and meets the needs of student.
