1. Bituminous Concrete A. Asphalt Plant Quality Control and Inspection B. Field inspection of paving operations C. Nuclear density testing of Hot Mix Asphalt compaction D. Core drilling and testing Hot Mix Asphalt samples to confirm compliance with NJDOT Specifications 2. Portland Cement Concrete A. Field Inspection of mixing and placing concrete B. Fabrication and transporting of concrete cylinders C. Performing typical field tests as required D. Lab testing of hardened concrete cylinders E. Windsor probe testing of in place hardened concrete F. Precast plant inspection of concrete fabrication to ensure quality control on various structural members 3. Field Construction Inspection A. On-call construction inspection may include a full or part-time on-site inspector to assist the resident Monmouth County inspector on active Monmouth County projects. Duties will include, but not be limited to, inspection, quality assurance, supervision of materials testing and preparation of construction reports, payments, and other project documentation. B. Office support might include consultation in support of the projects to which the inspectors are assigned.
