Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCOPE OF WORK The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) on behalf of University Behavioral HealthCares (UBHC) Partial Hospital Programs that serves adults age 18 years and older who are diagnosed with a psychiatric disability. This RFP is for two (2) locations, The Monmouth Junction location, 4326 Route 1 North, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852 which serves approximately ninety (90) meals per day and the Cherry Hill location 1886 Greentree Road Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08003 which serves approximately thirty (30) meals per day . We are seeking a contractor(s) to provide LUNCH ONLY to one or both locations. Lunch must be delivered one half hour before the programs lunch time (approx. 12:45 PM) A.M. five (5) days per week, 52 weeks per year less the University Holidays. The bidder can submit proposals to deliver lunch only to both locations and or one location. Beverages are not part of this RFP/Contract. The University reserves the right to award this contract to multiple vendors. Each bidder can submit pricing to service both Monmouth Junction and Cherry Hill or just one. The University Holidays are as follows: NEW YEARS DAY, MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, GOOD FRIDAY, MEMORIAL DAY, INDEPENDACE DAY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING DAY, THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVINGS DAY, CHRISTMAS DAY. Beneath each specification is a line stating: WE HAVE READ AND SHALL FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION _____. The bidder must indicate by putting a check mark in the appropriate box marked _____Y (Yes) ____N (No). If any requirements cannot be fulfilled the bidder must explain why in section 7.4. The bidder must put a check mark for the Monmouth Junction or the Cherry Hill or both in section 3.1. The bidder must also complete section 7.3. The bidder must recognize that the inability to fulfill a required specification may possibly result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive and thereby disqualify the proposal from evaluation.Request For Proposal: To provide lunch to the Partial Hospital Programs (RFP#P12-031) Page 12 3.1 LUNCH FOR MONMOUTH JUNCTION AND CHERRY HILL PARTIAL HOSPITAL PROGRAMS The University reserves the right to award this contract to multiple vendors. Each bidder can submit pricing to service both Monmouth Junction and Cherry Hill or just one. 3.1.2 The Contractor must provide and deliver lunches to the partial hospital programs in Monmouth Junction and or Cherry Hill locations. 3.1.3 The Contractor must provide Lunch: Approximately ninety (90) meals per day for the Monmouth Junction location and approximately thirty (30) meals per day to the Cherry Hill location. 3.1.4 The University prefers the contractor delivering the lunches to the Monmouth Junction and Cherry Hill locations one half hour before the program lunch time. If the contractor does not deliver lunches, they must be ready for pick up one half hour prior to the programs lunch time. 3.1.5 The Contractor must be capable of providing lunch to the Monmouth Junction and/or the Cherry Hill locations five (5) days per week with the exception of University holidays as listed in Section 3.9. 3.1.5.1 The Contractor must provide lunch to Monmouth Junction and Cherry Hill 52 weeks per year with the exception of University holidays as listed in Section 3.9 3.1.6 The Dietary services must conform to the requirement NJAC Title 8 chapters 24. 3.1.6.1 1 If the contractor delivers meals the Contractor must provide and maintain oversight of food transportation based CDC policy and procedures. Thermostat and temperature controls must be utilized at all times.
