Furnish and deliver Program Year 2021 HOME-ARP Activities in accordance with the guidelines outlined herein. Municipalities, for-profit, and non-profit entities are eligible to apply for HOME-ARP funding. Applicants must make a virtual presentation to the HOME Committee during the month of April 2025. Note the following special considerations that are unique to HOME-ARP funding: • The HOME Match and CHDO set-aside requirements do not apply to this grant • The administrative limit for the grant is 15% for subgrantees • HOME-ARP funds can be used for service projects • Somerset County will not establish any preferences for individuals or families in a particular qualifying population or a segment of a qualifying population • There is $143,179.00 available and there is no limit to the amount of grant funding that can be requested per proposal. Based on input from the HUD-mandated consultation process that was held on September 30, 2021, priority will be given to projects that: • Provide follow up case management and other support to families after they leave emergency shelter • Provide homelessness prevention services to households whose rent is more than 40% of their gross monthly income • Provide outreach and education to landlords re: participation in housing assistance programs • Can be sustained with alternative funding sources after HOME-ARP funds are spent
