Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The sweeping shall occur at the CCMUA’s facilities located at 1645 Ferry Avenue and the 200 Jackson Street in Camden, New Jersey. 2.2 All facilities will be swept once per week for a six hour period of sweeping, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 6:00 AM. 2.3 The areas to be swept are as follows: 2.3.a The parking lot at the Administration Building at 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden. 2.3.b Ferry Avenue from the intersection at 4th Street to the intersection at Jackson Street, both sides of the street curb to curb. 2.3.c The Jackson Street roadway from the intersection of Ferry Avenue past the entrance of the main plant and to the fishing pier at the Delaware River, both sides of the street, curb to curb including the fishing pier parking lot. 2.3.d The entire plant roadways, all parking areas and all other paved areas at 200 Jackson Street. 2.4 Sweepers must dump directly into a designated area by the CCMUA. 2.5 Sweepers must have two gutter brooms and a main broom capable of sweeping a minimum of (9) foot path. 2.6 Sweepers must be equipped with an efficient water spray system for dust control. 2.7 Sweepers must be in good operating condition and kept that way throughout the life of the contract. A sufficient supply of spare brooms and parts must be kept on hand to insure continuous operation. 2.8 The contractor will maintain the frequency of sweeping as agreed upon as close as possible, subject to severe weather conditions such as heavy rain, extreme cold, ice and snow. 2.9 The CCMUA will provide facilities for filling the water spray systems.
