Purpose The purpose of this contract is to provide immediate additional capacity to the treatment facilities & functions, laboratory facilities & functions, plant maintenance activities, distribution system facilities & functions, construction & maintenance, customer service, metering, and billing areas of TWW. The specific staff augmentation would include, but is not limited to: • Asset Manager (1x) • Budget Officer • Compliance Officer • Engineers o Principal Engineer o Senior Engineer • Compliance Manager (1x) • Public Relations and Engagement Manager (1x) • Distribution System Operators (1x) o W-4 Licensed Operator (1x) • Meter Team Specialists: (7x) o Meter Readers (4x) o Meter Repair Specialists(3x) • Water Treatment Plant Repairer (1x) • Supplemental maintenance personnel for Filtration Plant day-to-day maintenance & repair on an ongoing basis. • Upon recommendation provided by the Director of Water & Sewer, other ancillary/support staff to supplement operations due to lack due to sufficient staffing. The Contract Vendor shall provide technical and operational assistance to Trenton Water Works managerial and authorized supervisory staff in order to assist the operations of current TWW objectives to comply with the New Jersey Safe Drinking Water Act (N.J.S.A 58:12A-6). The Contract Vendor is to report to the designated representative(s) of Director of Water and Sewer, or their designee(s) throughout the organization. Areas of Responsibility The Contract Vendor will report to TWW managers and authorized supervisors in control over the units of TWW responsible for asset management, distribution, construction and maintenance, laboratory, customer service, billing, and collections. As directed by the Director of Water and Sewer, TWW reserves the right to assign Contract Vendor personnel to needed positions in order to fulfill operational objectives to comply with DEP Quality Assurance regulations.
