The Consultant will prepare the necessary construction plans and specifications and cost estimates, and will secure any permits and/or approvals, as may be required, for the Resurfacing of Mill Road project. This construction project is scheduled for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Federal Funding. The purpose of this project is to enhance public safety for all road users with the following improvements: road base repair, replacement of storm facilities, upgraded signage & striping, and other improvements. It will also include milling/paving and upgrades to the drainage facilities. This project will help stimulate economic development, improve the quality of life, and enhance important transportation infrastructure in the region. The design scheme for this project shall not require any land acquisition or granting of easements on private property, nor shall the work adversely affect private lands or active farming activities. This professional services contract therefore does not include any property surveying or parcel acquisition.
