Services shall include, at a minimum: • Comprehensive Intake • Treatment Implementation • In-House Medical Services that Include a Physical within 48 hours of intake • Substance use disorder Counseling Services to include individual, family and group sessions • Quality Assurance Services • Discharge Assessment and Planning • Additional Support Services • Recreational Services • Pharmaceutical Services • Dietary Services • Written Patient Rights and Responsibilities • Urine Screen at Intake Program Specifications Services Shall include: A. A biopsychosocial assessment of patients entering treatment and the development of a treatment plan. B. Shall provide services in accordance with the client’s treatment plan. C. Patient’s treatment progress shall be reviewed by a multi-Disciplinary team including the substance use disorder counselor at least every fifteen (15) days. D. The facility shall always access the provision of emergency medical/psychiatric care in the facility during its hours of operation provide twenty-four (24) hour nursing services and have written affiliation agreements with area medical centers to provide acute medical care. E. Substance use disorder counseling and supportive sessions shall be provided in accordance with an individual treatment plan. F. Counseling services shall include both substance use disorder counseling and didactic sessions on topics including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco and other drug education, AIDS, and health education. G. An ongoing comprehensive quality assurance program. H. Written Discharge Plan shall be prepared and include community resources, linkage to vocational services and support groups available for aftercare. I. A planned, diversified program of recreational activities shall be provided for. J. Pharmaceutical services shall be available to patients twenty-four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week. K. The facility shall provide dietary services to meet the daily nutritional needs of patients and other criteria, including special diets. L. Each facility shall establish and implement written policies regarding the rights and responsibilities of patients.
