Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Township of Toms River is seeking bids to provide regular pest control services (inspections and treatments) for the control of all categories of roaches, silverfish, clover mites, paper mites, bedbugs, lice, pavement ants (excluding carpenter ants), wasps, hornets, bees (including carpenter bees), mice and rats, all categories of fleas; spiders; ticks; carpet beetles. Any category of bugs, insects, rodents not listed (excluding carpenter ants and carpenter beetles and termites) shall be inspected and controlled. This bid shall also include free emergency service during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday).; Pest Control Services are required for all public areas, including food and water areas and rest rooms, for the below listed municipal locations. All areas will be inspected in accordance with the listed schedule, be treated as necessary, and upon request to address specific complaints.; The exterminator shall furnish all chemicals, materials, equipment and labor for this work. All pesticides anticipated for use are to be nonflammable, secured when unattended, EPA approved and registered, registered by the N.J. Office of Pesticide Control and to be applied in strict accordance with label directions and restrictions, where applicable.; The exterminator shall establish effective rodent control and insect control with proper bait stations, sticky trays, traps etc. as warranted to gain control at locations where necessary.; The exterminator shall quote a general cost per linear foot price for the treatment of Termites. There is no minimum or maximum footage implied or guaranteed.; This prices bid under this service program will not include the control of carpenter ants or the control of flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes or gnats. However, from time to time, the Township may call the exterminator for a flat fee to treat a particular area invested with these pests.; This service program will include additional service calls which may be necessary to maintain proper pest control, and will be provided at no additional charge to the Township.; Before application is made, the exterminator must notify the Township of Toms River of any precautionary measures to be undertaken by the Township.; The application of all materials will be made in a manner which (1) is consistent with the label instructions, (2) does not cause or tend to cause damage to non-target areas or property, and (3) does not cause adverse effects or harm to man or the environment. All applications will be made on a work schedule acceptable to the Township of Toms River.
