Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Work to be completed under this Contract involves furnishing and installing a low voltage, concrete embedded de-icing system in an active rail maintenance yard. The work shall include the removal, protection and reinstallation of existing concrete walkway panels. The contractor will provide walkway panels, insulation, control devices, electrical equipment, and all related accessories in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations as shown on the drawings and as indicated in the specifications. The scope of work shall include the selective demolition around the existing concrete walkway panels and the concrete restoration of all areas impacted by the work. The Contractor shall perform the demolition/new work and fully coordinate their construction activities with PATCO to minimize disruptions to the normal operations of PATCO High speed line.
