The successful firm will provide the City with legal guidance relating to, but not necessarily limited to: 1. Legal research and/or advisory opinions as needed. 2. Represent the Parking Authority in federal and state courts and administrative forums. 3. Review and/or draft contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and bid specifications. 4. The firm must provide representation when needed for all types of legal issues. 5. The firm must have expertise in aspects of New Jersey Municipal Law, including contracts and parking authority law. 6. Must attend meetings of the Parking Authority Board. 7. Notify the Authority of changes in law or state regulations, as well as court decisions that impact the operation. 8. Any other matters as directed by the Authority.
